International Sunday

Each Sunday from 12 noon to 7pm is the International Sunday program. You will hear a diverse collection of music , news, weather and current events brought to you in English as well as the native language of the following presenters:

• Latin American (Thais Solano, Sara Palacious, Jorge Solano)
• Filipino (Thez Hamilton, Arvy Datu, Rowena Bayon and Gemma Kay)
• Irish/Scottish (Judy Pomeroy and Bill - Irish, Billy McKnight and Janet - Scottish)
• Indian (Asha and her team - see below)
• Finnish (Ari Korhonen)
• German/Austrian (Herbert Maierhofer, Heiko Westphalen and Peter Mohringer)
• French (Gilles Morel)
• African (Moses Agobel)

The Indian show on Triple t's International Sunday started on the 6th July 2008.

It's the information hub for the Townsville Indian community: What's happening within the Indian community and what's happening in Townsville that is relevant to the Indian community.  It aims to increase awareness and appreciation of Indian culture in the wider Townsville community and to entertain by playing Indian music and presenting interviews.  Asha is the presenter and her team includes Chakri who reviews Indian cinema, Richa who presents current affairs, Venu covering sports and Milan who presents the Top 10 Bollywood Countdown.
